Meet Andy!

Andy was born and raised in Durban, South Africa and his family immigrated to Vancouver Island, Canada in 1998 to start a new life. He is now a proud Canadian living the majority of his Canadian life in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island.

Currently, Andy is the base manager of West Coast Helicopters in Nanaimo. He received his helicopter license in 2008. He has spent his entire career flying Canada’s West Coast from as far north as the arctic circle in the Yukon to where he is now, back home, flying around beautiful Vancouver Island and surrounding areas.

It is easy to say that flying is Andy’s passion, and to be able to share this experience with others, especially on their wedding day, he considers it to be a privilege. Andy recently joined the team at Vancouver Officiant in order to combine the thrill of flying with the joy of bringing people together on their wedding day in one very memorable and exciting experience.
