“COULDN’T RECOMMEND A BETTER GROUP OF OFFICIANTS!! My husband and I originally booked an officiant with Vancouver Officiant for our July 2022 wedding in Victoria because a friend of ours had an officiant from Van officiant that was SO amazing, we thought he was a long time friend of the couple!
We met with our officiant, Danny in 2020 and we LOVED him so much, we knew right away that he was the perfect fit for our wedding. The entire process with Vancouver Officiant was so streamlined and organized, even through covid restrictions and zoom meetings. They made us feel so comfortable, which we really appreciated!
Fast forward to February 2022...We decide to call off our big wedding and elope locally in the Fraser Valley instead. Vancouver Officiant gave us absolutely amazing service throughout the entire process of changing! After planning our wedding for a year through ever changing covid restrictions, we felt that downsizing our wedding and getting married close to home was the right choice. We were incredibly stressed throughout planning and sad about cancelling our dream wedding but Van Officiant made us feel so well taken care of throughout the entire change.
When we emailed them to inform them of the change, they responded promptly and compassionately. They booked us a meet and greet zoom meeting with a new officiant local to the fraser valley that was available on our new date right away. We thought that we were going to have a really hard time finding an officiant as amazing as our first, Danny, but when we met our new officiant Valerie we knew she was going to be a great fit to our day. (Just a testament to the fact that Vancouver Officiant hires great people!)
Van Officiant helped us restructure our package to fit our new wedding plans and budget & Valerie took the time to get to know my husband and I.
We had decided to do a helicopter elopement and the day before our wedding day the weather was looking a little uncertain so we were unsure if we would be able to fly or not. Valerie was SO accommodating and reassuring, she was willing to meet us at a new location last minute if need be.
Thankfully we were able to fly on our wedding day as planned and Valerie delivered such a sentimental ceremony that blew my husband and I away! It was so personal and I honestly still don’t know how she was able to create a ceremony that was so perfect for us with the little bits of information we gave her. We had a 1 hour time frame for a landing to do our ceremony & take photos/videos together. Valerie made our ceremony short and sweet and stepped out of the way to give us space for photos as soon as she was done! We even got the coveted first kiss photo without the officiant in it and we didn’t even have to ask her to step aside.
On top of all of this, the new wedding date we chose was Father’s Day which we didn’t initially realize, and Van Officiant didn’t bat an eye at finding us an officiant for that day!
Valerie & Kristen were amazingly accommodating to work with, they made us feel so comfortable and reassured, delivered an amazing ceremony & wedding day experience and truly celebrated in our newly wedded bliss with us.
