Meet Janik!
Janik believes that every ceremony should be as unique as the people that are entering into that marriage. A passionate people-person, Janik has over a decade of experience in the hospitality and events industry, planning and facilitating events both large and small.
Janik’s pleasure is in making each ceremony reflect the beauty of each couple and celebrates the arrival of this pivotal moment in a relationship. An experienced public speaker and MC, Janik looks forward to sharing your story! Janik resides in the South Okanagan Valley with his beautiful Wife and Daughter and in his spare time he can be found cooking up an storm (he did train as a chef after all), fussing over his cats and cycling or canoeing.

“My husband and I hired Janik from Vancouver Officiant for our Summerland wedding after meeting him at our venue during an event. I knew right away that he would be a great fit - confident and respectful - a true professional. We jumped at the opportunity to hire him and from start to finish, he was nothing short of our expectations. He asked detailed questions and truly wanted to make sure we were comfortable and would receive the ceremony of our dreams. He ran our rehearsal so well - having to coordinate our wedding party who was high energy. My bridesmaids turned to me and said “omg, he’s perfect”. He didn’t use a pre-made script but rather personalized our entire program based off of questions that we answered for him. He took the time to get to know us before our wedding and added special elements to our ceremony accordingly. It is because of Janik that our ceremony turned out to be the highlight of our weekend. He was AMAZING.
