Meet Anita

Anita is the daughter of Hungarian parents who came to Canada in the early ’70s. She grew up in North Vancouver, in the area now known as the popular Shipyards District.

Fluent in Hungarian, she also speaks some Spanish and German, and is currently learning ASL (American Sign Language).

After a double major in English Literature and History, Anita set off to see the world with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as youth and cruise staff, a DJ, and in shore excursions, sailing on more than 16 ships docking around the world.

She returned to UBC for her Bachelor of Education and became a high school teacher. Packing her gum boots and a little white kitten named Socks, she taught in Port Hardy and Port McNeill, often travelling to remote parts of BC by float plane, immersed in First Nations culture.

In 2017, she was honoured to present at the CDP conference on Inclusive Hiring Practices, earning the PosAbilities Inspire Award.

Today, Mission is home, feeding her passion for adventure, vineyards, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Anita can’t wait to work with you and help make your wedding ceremony the best day ever!
