The Signature Script Experience - Your person officiating with a custom script

Starting at $598 + GST

Dreaming of a heartfelt ceremony led by your best friend or a close family member—but still want everything done legally and professionally? The Signature Script gives you exactly that.

Getting ordained online? Here’s the part nobody mentions.

Online ordination is fast, free, and—in British Columbia—not enough on its own. The province doesn’t register ministers ordained through online-only churches such as the Universal Life Church, so a ceremony led by your newly ordained friend isn’t a legal marriage here.

The good news: your person can still lead every word of it. That’s exactly what The Signature Script is for. They stand up front and deliver a ceremony written around you, and one of our licensed BC officiants handles the legal signing. Nothing you cared about is lost—and your marriage is properly registered.

You’ll collaborate one-on-one with one of our experienced officiants to design a ceremony that’s unmistakably you. Through our engaging creative process—complete with a detailed questionnaire, personal conversations, and unlimited script revisions—we’ll craft words that reflect your story, your style, and your love.

Once your custom ceremony is complete, we’ll connect with your chosen ceremony leader (your bestie, sibling, or favourite uncle!) for a virtual coaching session. We’ll guide them through the script, offer delivery tips, and make sure they feel confident and ready to shine.

When it’s time to make it official, we’ll handle the legal signing—either before, during or after your ceremony—so everything is beautifully personal and perfectly legal.

With The Signature Script, you get the best of both worlds: a custom-crafted ceremony shared by someone you love, and a seamless legal marriage handled by our professional team.

Getting married somewhere remote?

Our first choice is always to have one of our officiants there in person for the legal signing. Where that isn’t practical, we can look at temporarily licensing your chosen person to sign the marriage themselves—something we’ve arranged for couples in remote regions this year. It’s handled case by case, so tell us where you’re headed and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
