Meet John

John brings decades of wedding experience and insight to his role as an officiant. Since 1994, he has been part of Vancouver’s wedding community as a professional photographer and founder of Wedding Story, documenting countless ceremonies and gaining a deep appreciation for the meaning and responsibility behind each moment.

Having spent years witnessing weddings from behind the lens, John now steps to the front with a calm presence and thoughtful approach, dedicated to creating ceremonies that feel genuine, personal, and beautifully guided.

As a proud member of Vancouver’s Korean community, John is honoured to offer couples the option to share their stories in a culturally familiar and comfortable way, helping families feel fully connected throughout the celebration.

John values connection, attentiveness, and the privilege of standing alongside couples as they begin their next chapter together.
