Meet Yevhen

Yevhen’s journey into officiating began with an unexpected moment in September 2012. While working as a sound engineer for a wedding officiant in Kyiv, Ukraine, he was asked to step in and lead a ceremony when the officiant was accidentally double-booked. What began as a one-time favour quickly grew into a vibrant career for Yevhen and his wife, planning and officiating weddings and events together.

Since that first ceremony, Yevhen has officiated more than 1,000 weddings along with many corporate and special events. He is known for his strong attention to detail, confident presentation style, and heartfelt passion for creating meaningful celebrations.

In February 2022, Yevhen and his family immigrated to Canada to begin a new chapter. A chance connection with the Vancouver Officiant team in 2024 opened the door to once again serve couples.

Yevhen primarily speaks Ukrainian and is currently developing his English, and he officiates ceremonies in Ukrainian so he can fully express each moment with warmth and authenticity.
